		<description>Hi! I have the same problem, i think. It&#039;s a wierd ambient noice, that adjusts to the intensity of the sound. It is easiest to hear when the music is going from a vert soft dynamic to silence and up in dynamics again. Sizzling fuzzy sound that is hard to hear when the music is loud, but is very annoying when you know it&#039;s there!

I can&#039;t find a Audio Midi Setup in my Utilities-folder. :(</description>

		<description>I can confirm that the culprit is VirtualBox 3.1.  When I run Windows XP in VirtualBox, it resets my Mac&#039;s audio from 2ch-16bit to 2ch-8bit.  Very annoying.</description>
